Early Christmas

Christmas came early for Elise and her cousins Bethany & Amanda. Today, we hosted the "Egge" Clan. My bro Chet, his wife Sarah and our nieces Bethany & Amanda came to DSM today. Elise was SO EXCITED her cousins were coming, she had a great time playing with them. Of course, the first thing she wanted to do was open her presents. We did open presents and all the girls got great gifts. Elise loves her new "computer" from her uncle, aunt and cousins.

We let the girls open first, then they were ready for a movie. The adults opened sans any kids and got some great stuff. After gifts, we played an old favorite Shanghai Rummy. Our game was cut short due to snow and 3 hungry girls.

After dinner, Chet and the family loaded up and took Grandma Marti off to Boone for the night to see Sarah's brother Bill and his family. Grandma Marti will be back tomorrow night and Chet and family will be back on Christmas day.

Sadly, we have no digital pics of the day! :-( I took lots but for some reason our computer isn't reading the memory stick. We can see them on the camera, get a file error and the "blue screen of death" and then nothing. After a couple of hours of messing around with it we've decide we have a back memory stick. Good thing one of us still believes in the "old fashioned" film camera! Otherwise, we'd only have video of our special day!
