100th Celebration of Cyclone Basketball

Yesterday was a GREAT Day!! Ryan and I went to the ISU vs. NE basketball game thanks to our friends Aaryn and Chad for inviting us along!!

Before the men's game started they had a pre-game of former ISU players playing a game. It was great to see them all in action. The oldest player was 89, Freddie Gordon and the youngest in his 20's. We got to see Fred Hoiberg, Jacy Halloway, Marc Carlson (fraternity brother of Chad and Ryan), Loren Meyer, Julius Michalick, Brad Pippett, Kenny Pratt, Gary Thompson, Jeff Grayer, Sam Hill, Justus Thigpen, Ron Bayless and many more. The coaches were Johnny Orr and Jim Hallihan for the red vs. white team.

It was great for the fraternity brothers: Ryan, Jay, Chad and Josh to see Marc play ball.

Another AMAZING site was seeing Parker in an ISU t-shirt. His mom, Megs, one of my best friends married Doug, a Hawkeye fan. Doug has corrupted Parker and he's a Hawkeye fan. Except for yesterday when FINALLY Meg's won and got him in ISU gear! I think Grandpa Jack had something to do with it too! Jack is Meg's dad and a tride and true Cyclone fan!

It was even better when ISU beat NE!!! Jim, you owe me a "soda"!!!!

GO CYLCONES!!!
