Galena Weekend

Last weekend we traveled to Galena, IL. We rented a house with the Dahlquist and Wunderlich's. We got there Friday afternoon and left on Sunday about Noon.

Each couple got there own bedroom and bathroom. Elise and Lauren "camped" on a foton in the finished basement. After the girls went to bed Friday night the adults sat around and played Apples to Apples while laughing and drinking away.

Saturday found the adults moving a bit slow....especially 2 adults and NO it wasn't me...Mr. York! The guys were troopers and took the girls out sledding. After getting them down for a nap the ladies headed to town to "shop". Funny, how we ended up in a bar! We feasted on lasagna and then played the LONGEST game of Hearts! I went from being in the lead to losing. Once again we had a great time. Then out came the Wii and we had a couple's bowling tournament. It was fun to play the Wii.

Sunday found us all headed back home. We had a great weekend and it was good to see the WI friends!
