Big Changes Coming Up...

There are BIG changes coming up in the York abode these next couple of weeks.

First, tomorrow marks Elise's last day at her daycare Traditions. She's been attending Traditions since we moved back to Iowa. She loves it there and we've been fortunate to have only had her in 2 rooms. Not to mention she's only had 3 teachers during her 2+yr. tenure there. Miss Paulette was her first teacher and Elise loves Miss Paulette and the feeling is mutual from Miss Paulette. We gave her a nice parting gift and I felt terrible as Miss Paulette was in tears after hugging us both. Amazingly, I didn't start bawling right along w/her. I'm sure it'll hit me tomororw.

Second, by this time next week we'll have a kindergartener on our hands who will have just completed her first day of school! WOW...can't believe it!!! She'll be going to the before and after school program at her school. That'll be nice because they operate the same hours as daycare and are open during the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and during Winter break. Thank goodness! It's snow day's we've got to worry about but we'll cross that bridge when it comes.
